Societas Italica Rosae✠Crucis
S.I.R.✠C.
On March 21, 2017 in the Sign of Aries, Fire of Beginnings, the Fratres et Sorores freely gathered in the impulse of the Inner Circle of the Rose+Cross, manifest the Societas Italica Rosae+Crucis in the Sphere of the Kingdom.
The Societas Italica Rosae+Crucis is a free society that cultivates the Rosicrucian tradition, founded by our Pater et Frater Christian Rosenkreutz, with particular reference to the Italian tradition of our venerated Past Masters: it refers to the cenacle operating in Italy in the 17th century under the guide of Federico Gualdi, under the patronage of Queen Christina of Sweden (1626–1689), exiled to Rome, which included Giuseppe Francesco Borri (1627–1695), Francesco Maria Santinelli (1727-1697), Massimiliano Savelli Palombara (1614–1685). The Societas is also the awakening of the ancient Rosicrucian lineage descending from the Padri Serviti of Monte Senario in Florence in 1477, as the completion of a 108-year cycle.
The Societas was born on the inspiration of the original Rosicrucian impulse, which in occult form began to act as early as the 13th century and subsequently emerged in an exoteric form with the Rosicrucian Manifestos, or the Fama Fraternitatis Rosae Crucis (1614), Confessio Fraternitatis (1615) and the Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz (1616). We therefore recognize the existence of a true Rosicrucian Order from which the various Rosicrucian Orders are derived by inspiration. The Societas studies Rosicrucian symbolism, in all its many forms, which indicates the paths that lead man, expelled from the Earthly Paradise, back to the Center of the Cross, the point where opposites meet, the point where the Rose blossoms .
The aim of the Societas Italica Rosae+Crucis consists in the study, cultivation and practice of all branches of the Western mystery tradition in a Rosicrucian light. The Societas recommends and promotes the zealous study of all branches of the Western Mystery Tradition: alchemy, spagyria, astrology and cabala; of which the Rosicrucian tradition represents the summa and synthesis, and therefore the overcoming of any divergent point of view. The Rosicrucianism of the Societas implies the understanding and implementation of both the Magical Way and the Mystical Way, transcending them both through the Via Mediana in order to restore the original Universal Man. The Order is open to men and women, to Freemasons and non-Masons, they are the age of consent and faith in the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and in Jesus Christ as Redeemer.
